Allianz UK has appointed Hailey Franklin to the newly-created role of commercial director for Allianz Personal Broker.

In her new role, she will lead initiatives to strengthen trading performance and enhance business capabilities.
”Working closely with core teams, she will focus on delivering propositions that support Allianz Personal Broker’s commitment to a simple, stronger and smarter approach,” the insurer said.
She is the latest high-profile recruitment in the broking arm. In September 2025, Allianz announced that Glyn Hughes has been recruited as managing director of Allianz Personal Broker and will start his new role in February 2026.
Later that year in December, the firm appointed Vicky Yuill as ditribution director.
Speaking about taking up her new role, Franklin said: “This is an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues and partners to create propositions that drive performance and deliver exceptional service for brokers and customers alike.”
Experience
Franklin has a wealth of knowledge from her 13 years at Allianz and in the insurance industry, where she has held senior roles across pricing, underwriting and distribution.

Allianz UK said her understanding of the market and ability to deliver results will be “instrumental in shaping the next chapter for Allianz Personal Broker”.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
