One broker in Insurance Times’s eTrading survey noted that ’Applied is the one to watch’

Applied Systems Europe has maintained a strong position in Insurance Times’s Five Star Rating Report: eTrading 2021, as well as improved its overall rating in the broker management systems category.

These results were driven by high scores in the survey’s usability and trading category, as well as positive feedback around broker management system reliability.

In the survey, which polled 850 independent brokers, respondents said that Applied Systems’s broker management system enabled high performance in etrading through an “easier method of communication with insurers or more accessible telephone numbers”, as well as by providing good customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

One broker noted that “Applied is the one to watch and will disrupt the market”.

In the Five Star Rating Report: eTrading 2021, brokers rated the broker management system they use daily, with five stars being the highest score possible.

Year-on-year, Applied Systems Europe has improved its score across most categories. These categories include: usability and trading ease, system reliability, client management tools and support, and range and breadth of products.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
