’Her deep expertise and proven track record in delivering strong pricing strategies and data-driven insights will be instrumental to Aviva’s commercial underwriting office,’ says CUO
Aviva has appointed Alex McMurrough as the new director of pricing, insights and exposure management within its commercial lines underwriting office (CUO).
McMurrough joins the insurer from QBE, where she was most recently group head of pricing and analytics. Before this, she held senior roles at Axa XL.
”This strategic addition to the CUO senior leadership team reflects Aviva’s commitment to investing in top talent to drive performance, accelerate growth and enhance its market-leading underwriting capabilities,” Aviva said.
Karen Dayal, chief underwriting officer for commercial lines at Aviva, added: ”McMurrough’s deep expertise and proven track record in delivering strong pricing strategies and data-driven insights will be instrumental to Aviva’s commercial underwriting office as we continue to strengthen our capabilities and deliver for our clients.
“With her arrival, the CUO senior leadership team is now in place and fully focused on delivering our priorities: helping Aviva’s commercial lines business accelerate by writing more, writing faster, writing safer and writing smarter.”
