’She brings a broad range of expertise and experience, including delivering operational change and digital transformation,’ says operations director

Brit appointed Jane Bioletti as its new head of operations, with the former Lloyd’s executive joining the specialty insurer in December.

Bioletti is reporting to Susan Andrew, operations director, and becomes a member of Brit’s operations leadership team as part of the move.

In the role, she has been tasked with helping to lead and implement the continued enhancement of Brit’s underwriting support services.

She joins from Lloyd’s, where she spent more than 10 years. Most recently, Bioletti served as head of delegated authorities, leading the Lloyd’s delegated authority oversight and operations division.

Additionally, Bioletti co-chairs the Gender Inclusion Network. Earlier experience includes roles at MetLife.

Range of expertise

Andrew said the appointment supported Brit’s focus on underwriting performance.

She said: “Driving ever improving processes and data quality for our underwriting teams is an important enabler of Brit’s position as a market lead.

“Bioletti brings a broad range of expertise and experience, including delivering operational change and digital transformation, and with over a decade at Lloyd’s has a deep understanding of the market.

“We are pleased to welcome her as we continue to support Brit’s underwriting and distribution platforms through operational excellence.”
