The offering ’helps ensure our customers can maintain their financial resilience should the unexpected happen’, says vice president of product and design
Smart money app company Plum has partnered with Qover to expand its offering with worldwide travel protection.

In this offering, claims are run through Qover’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital process. Meanwhile, on the Plum app, customers can view their cover, download travel certificates and manage claims through a simple digital journey.
Backed by Aspire and Lloyd’s, the automatic travel protection is included with Plum’s Max subscription plan in the UK.
Quentin Colmant, co-founder and chief executive at Qover, said: “Plum is a great example of a fintech that genuinely puts customer value first.
”By embedding protection directly into the Max experience, they’re giving users peace of mind in an effortless way. We’re proud to help Plum bring this experience to life and deliver everyday value to their community.”
What does it protect?
Customers and their travelling family members are protected for medical emergencies, lost baggage, delays and cancellations.

Rashmi D’Souza, vice president of product and design at Plum, said: ”Travelling, especially with family, is one of the key moments when finances and peace of mind intersect.
”People are able to save for flights and hotels through Plum’s automation goals, but then need to sort out the admin when it comes to booking those trips. By including insurance in our Max plan, Plum can provide extra protection during those important moments.
”It helps ensure our customers can maintain their financial resilience should the unexpected happen so they don’t have to start saving again from scratch, while also strengthening the overall value of the subscription. Working with Qover means we can offer this in a digital, reliable way that fits naturally into the Plum experience.”
