’His forward-thinking leadership and industry expertise will cement our current industry standing and elevate our company to the next level of success,’ says MGA
MGA Exance has appointed Simon Taylor as its new chief executive.

Based in London, Exance specialises in construction insurance and financial lines. In a post on LinkedIn, it said appointing Taylor ”will cement our current industry standing and elevate our company to the next level of success”.
Prior to joining the MGA, Taylor was the managing director for wholesale at Jensten Group, a position he held from 2019 to 2024.
He left the business following the firm carrying out a strategic restructure, which was done to drive growth and expedite the integration of future acquisitions.
Before Jensten Group, he was the sales director at Pen Underwriting and an executive director at Clear Group.
Exance said: ”We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Taylor as the chief executive.
”His forward-thinking leadership and industry expertise will cement our current industry standing and elevate our company to the next level of success.
”Here’s to a bold new chapter, strengthened partnerships and continued momentum across the insurance landscape.”
