Gallagher Bassett has appointed Sarah Penny as its new client services director for UK operations.
In her new role, she will be responsible for looking after Gallagher Bassett’s corporate and carrier client relationships.
She will also work closely with the firm’s business development team to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients and continuous improvement of service for existing clients.
Penny said: “I’m thrilled to be leading Gallagher Bassett’s client services division.
“My career journey has provided me with touchpoints across a multitude of insurance disciplines, from underwriters to suppliers and MGAs, so I have a comprehensive understanding of what insurers are looking for in a claims partner.
”Equipped with a deep understanding of the key drivers behind a positive claims experience, I’m looking forward to highlighting those capabilities in Gallagher Bassett’s offering.”
Experience
With over 15 years of industry expertise, Penny has experience in key roles, including partnership manager at Previsico and claims business development manager at Liberty Specialty Markets.

She will report to chief operating officer John Fearn.
Fearn said: “I’m excited to have Penny leading the transformation of the client services division.
”The expansion will ensure we’re able to provide dedicated support to both our corporate, carrier and MGA clients, and will bring a renewed focus on delivering consistent, exceptional service for our partners.”
