Duncan Pritchard, managing director at Commercial Express

Commercial Express entered this category because 2025 has been a year of exceptional progress built on strong underwriting, operational discipline and genuine broker value.

Our growth has been driven by strategic investment in people, products and technology, alongside a standout claims service and strengthened insurer partnerships.

We felt this was the right moment to demonstrate how a focused, service-led MGA can deliver sustainable performance while raising standards across the market.

2. What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

Our entry stands out because we deliver more than underwriting.

We have combined strong financial results with measurable service improvements, a high-performing underwriting culture and a claims proposition that is recognised by brokers and policyholders alike.

We also support brokers through truly unique CPD and compliance tools.

This blend of innovation, reliability and strategic progress shows that Commercial Express is not only performing well today but building long-term value for the market.

3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning would be a powerful recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team.

It would celebrate the progress we have made in strengthening our underwriting capability, enhancing broker service and delivering consistent growth.

For our people, it would reaffirm that their commitment and expertise are shaping a business that is making a genuine difference.

For the wider market, it would reinforce our position as a trusted and forward-thinking MGA.
