’After developing the commercial insurance proposition at Kingfisher, I’m delighted to have taken up the managing director role,’ says appointee
Kingfisher Insurance has appointed Gareth Butler as its new managing director.

In his new role, Butler will lead Kingfisher in identifying new opportunities, partnerships and sectors.
He takes up the role after previously serving as head of corporate risks at Kingfisher, where he was responsible for developing the commercial insurance proposition.
Butler said: “After developing the commercial insurance proposition at Kingfisher, I’m delighted to have taken up the managing director role.
”It’s such an exciting time for the organisation and I look forward to leading the business to be the broker of choice for specialist and niche personal commercial products whilst keeping client outcomes at the heart of our offering.”
Experience
Prior to Kingfisher, Butler was head of affinity and partnership propositions at PIB and chief broking officer at Aon, where he delivered improvements in the identification, development and distribution of both commercial and personal lines products.
