‘The insurance premium finance market needs to adapt and innovate,’ says new hire
Markerstudy has established a new specialist division that will focus on all premium finance activities across the group.
The newly created unit will sit within Markerstudy’s distribution arm and aims to improve customer payment options and credit accessibility in the general insurance market.
The arm will be led by Cristian Jackson, who has been appointed as premium finance and lending director. He brings more than 30 years of experience in premium finance to the role.
He said: “I’m excited to join Markerstudy and thrilled to be leading a team with the aim to add value across the premium finance supply chain for the benefit of our policyholders.
“With the new landscape of direct regulation, higher than ever standards of consumer protection and the increased focus on consumer lending, the insurance premium finance market needs to adapt and innovate to offer new approaches to different payment options to ensure our customers’ needs are met and we give them access to credit which is affordable to them.”
’Continuously evolve’
Jackson will report to Emma Rawlinson, chief executive at Markerstudy Distribution.

“I look forward to his contribution to further optimise our strategy and provide best in market products and services for our customers. I’m delighted to welcome him to my senior leadership team.”
