Marsh Risk has appointed Angela Baker as its new UK portfolio solutions leader.

Baker will work closely with Marsh Risk’s UK industry leaders and specialty teams to develop and implement portfolio propositions.
Among her priorities will be the continued advancement of Fast Track, the global quota share facility, exclusive to Marsh clients.
She will be based in London and report to Tom Davies, UK placement leader at Marsh Risk.
Experience
Baker brings over 30 years of industry experience spanning risk consulting and insurance, including nearly 25 years with Marsh.

Throughout her tenure, she has contributed across multiple business practices, managing multiline insurance programmes from strategy through execution.
Most recently, Baker served as head of analytics solutions and operational risk consulting in the UK, leading national multidisciplinary teams.
Davies said: “Baker brings a wealth of experience and a thoughtful approach to leadership that will play a key role in the continued development of our portfolio solutions capabilities.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
