MGA Umbrl has partnered with ARAG to provide legal expenses insurance and home emergency cover across its range of household products.

The MGA’s household offering uses machine learning and in-house technology to offer competitive quotes through a range of distribution channels, including price comparison websites.

ARAG’s legal and home emergency policies will be available as optional covers with Umbrl’s Flex and Flex Plus propositions and embedded in the company’s Max offer.

Alan Jappy, head of new business for corporate partnerships and propositions at ARAG, said: “It’s been great working with the team at Umbrl to build something that fits very neatly with their market proposition and enhances their offer to customers, while supporting their focus on highly competitive prices.”

The deal also includes access to ARAG’s digital legal services platform.
