’As the market evolves, it’s more important than ever for us to partner with a premium finance provider we can trust to deliver both commercial value and operational efficiency,’ says chief operating officer
Quote Detective has announced a new multiyear partnership with premium finance provider PremFina.

The deal aims to help the specialist motor broker ”simplify and scale its operations, respond quickly to regulatory and market change and minimise disruption for customers”.
The move comes after Close Brothers announced in July 2025 that its premium finance business will exit some broker relationships as it starts to move away from personal lines.
Katie Roberts, chief operating officer at Quote Detective, said: “As the market evolves, it’s more important than ever for us to partner with a premium finance provider we can trust to deliver both commercial value and operational efficiency.
”PremFina stood out for their clear understanding of our business needs, their highly competitive rates and technology that frees up resources in our team. Their ability to respond quickly to change, which has become increasingly important in today’s market, was a key factor behind our decision. Having previously worked with members of the PremFina team we have every confidence in their ability to deliver.”

Laura Sweetman, chief product and revenue officer at PremFina, added: ”We’re delighted that Quote Detective has chosen to partner with PremFina following a highly competitive selection process.
”This agreement is part of a broader pattern we’re seeing as brokers reassess their premium finance arrangements and choose providers with the technology, resilience and delivery capability to support them over the long-term.
”Our focus is on building trusted relationships with brokers, delivering consistently to support their growth and being a partner they can rely on in an ever-changing market. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Quote Detective team.”
