’This further demonstrates our ability to not only help launch brokers in the UK, but also facilitate their access to the European market,’ says managing director
Davies has launched a new bespoke specialist property and casualty wholesale broker called Assurex Global London (AG).
Hosted on the Davies Broking Services platform as an Appointed Representative, AG will provide direct access to the London insurance markets.
It will initially target professional and financial lines, marine and cargo stock throughput, product recall, cyber, contingency and terrorism and political violence, with the potential for other lines to be added in future.
For European risks, AG will also be operating under Davies Broking Europe platform. The Davies Broking Europe platform was granted Lloyd’s accreditation in July 2024, enabling brokers to access the European Economic Area.
Services
The broker will be part of the Assurex Global Group, a partnership of independent agents and brokers.

AG will deliver additional services to its 100 plus partner members and independent brokers worldwide.
Will Ripley, president of AG, said: “We are grateful for the support from Davies in establishing AG as an appointed representative and building the platform that enabled us to begin trading from 1 September 2025.
“Now that we are operational, we are excited to work with independent brokers across the Assurex Global network and beyond, providing a truly independent option in the London market.
“Through our unique ‘one of one’ model, we will deliver the access, expertise, and long-term solutions that empower all independent brokers to compete and win for their clients.”
Steven Goate, managing director of intermediary and market services and director of Davies Broking Europe, added: “We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of AG London, which, operating with a broad range of support from Davies Broking Services and Davies Broking Europe, will drive additional value for Assurex Global Partners and the wider independent insurance channel.
“This further demonstrates our ability to not only help launch brokers in the UK, but also facilitate their access to the European market.”
