’Their combined depth of knowledge, strategic insight and proven leadership experience will be instrumental,’ says chief executive

UKGI Group, the parent company of broker Adler Fairways, has expanded its leadership team with two senior appointments.

The moves include Millie Smith taking on the role of group development director and Kelly Finney-Hughes becoming head of operations.

UKGI Group said the hires demonstrated its “commitment to strategic growth, innovation and operational excellence”.

Anthony Adler, UKGI Group chief executive, added: “Their combined depth of knowledge, strategic insight and proven leadership experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow and evolve.

“Smith’s strength in development and transformational leadership, alongside Finney-Hughes’ operational expertise across global markets, brings a powerful dynamic to our organisation.

“Together, they will help shape the future of UKGI Group as we continue to invest in our people, our clients and our long-term vision for sustainable success.”

Experience

Smith joins UKGI Group to lead business development and drive strategic transformation across the organisation.

Firms she has worked at include Partners&, where she served as marketing manager, and Macbeth Insurance Brokers, with her holding the role of marketing director.

Smith said: “I’m excited to join a forward-thinking business like UKGI Group.

“The opportunity to help shape the future of a growing group of insurance businesses is an inspiring challenge and I look forward to building on the great work already being done.”

Meanwhile, Finney-Hughes has more than 25 years’ experience leading high-performing teams across global markets.

She has held senior operations and business development positions at The Bradford Exchange, Connect Insurance Brokers and Ageas, where she drove global strategy transformations and operational efficiencies.

“Finney-Hughes’ leadership knowledge and her ability to deliver seamless customer experiences make her a valuable addition to UKGI’s leadership team,” UKGI Group said.

“Her appointment aligns with the group’s mission to strengthen operational capabilities while maintaining client-centric excellence.”
