’This acquisition represents our first step in building our Lloyd’s broking business,’ says chief executive
Partners& has entered the Lloyd’s market with the acquisition of 3 Dimensional Insurance (3DI).

3DI is a property-focused Lloyd’s broker based in Upshire, Essex. It combines the expertise of its team with technology to provide advice to clients and enhanced presentations to insurers.
Partners& said acquiring the business is in line with its strategy to create a leading ”multifaceted insurance group focused on the UK market, building on its retail broking, employee benefits, underwriting and loss adjusting capabilities”.
Phil Barton, Partners& group chief executive, said: “3DI has an excellent reputation in the market as an expert in their field.
“This acquisition represents our first step in building our Lloyd’s broking business, which we see as a valuable part of our overall proposition, supporting and complementing our retail broking and underwriting businesses.”

3DI’s joint managing partners, Keith Langton and Haydn Hertz, said: “Our aim is to support clients to find the right solutions for their clients’ businesses – and we’re using the best technology to do this.
“We’re excited to be part of a larger entity that still thinks of itself as a smaller, agile business focused on the needs of clients.
“This will be an excellent home for our team and the right move for our clients.”
Barton added: “Having invested time in getting to know Langton and Hertz, I have been impressed by the team’s commercial acumen and progressive thinking, which mirrors our own entrepreneurial growth mindset.”
