Premium Credit has appointed Alan Scott as its new director of partner relationships.
In his new role, Scott will lead the insurance premium finance broker account management teams across the commercial insurance market in the UK.
He will also focus on collaboration with broker partners to drive mutual growth, increasing customer offers and penetration rates and enhancing the overall partner experience.
Scott said: “I’m delighted to be joining Premium Credit at such an important stage in its strategic journey.
“The teams have strong foundations and reputations in the market and I look forward to working closely with them and our partners in the next stage of our strategic ambition.”
Experience
Scott joins from Axa, where he was most recently a director for retail intermediary.

Before this, he spent 14 years at RSA, most recently as southern director.
In his new role, he will report to Owen Thomas, chief sales officer at Premium Credit.
Thomas said: “Scott’s appointment marks an important step in our journey. His leadership will strengthen our delivery of partner relationship management and the experience we deliver to brokers, building on strong foundations to help us ensure every customer has access to premium finance when they need it.
“This is a key strategic focus as we continue to enhance our offering and enable our partners to grow through improved service, compliance and trust.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
