UK general insurance brokers have provided their feedback on service across 28 MGAs to inform Insurance Times’ latest Five Star Rating Report

UK general insurance (UKGI) brokers have voted and the results are in – Insurance Times can reveal that 11 MGAs have been awarded the maximum five star rating for their service quality, according to the Five Star Rating Report: MGA Market 2025/26.

This year’s publication – marking the report’s sixth annual edition – is based on a survey of 1,673 UKGI brokers conducted between July and September 2025.

The survey investigated brokers’ opinions and levels of satisfaction regarding the services they received from MGA partners they have worked with over the last 12 months.

For the 2025/26 report, published in association with the Managing General Agents’ Association, 28 MGAs have been awarded a performance linked star rating out of five by Insurance Times.

Of this number, an impressive 11 received the maximum five star score. Nine MGAs earned a strong four star rating, based on broker feedback, while eight MGAs achieved a three star result.
