Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has agreed to acquire Kennett Insurance and Risk Management.

Kennett Insurance and Risk Management has expertise in a variety of sectors such as construction, manufacturing, property, motor fleet, motor trade and logistics.
It operates from offices in Hull and Leeds.
Following completion of the deal, Kennett Insurance and Risk Management will join SRG’s UK retail pillar. Clients will continue to be supported by the existing team, while also having access to SRG’s wider expertise and resources.

SRG expansion
SRG said the acquisition represents a further step in its expansion across the north of England.

It also said that Kennett Insurance and Risk Management’s expertise aligns closely with its existing specialist focus and further enhances the breadth and depth of its UK retail offering.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
