Insurance Times reporter Isobel Rafferty speaks to Ageas UK chief executive Ant Middle following the firm winning Personal Lines Insurer of the Year at this year’s #ITAwards. 

The award was sponsored by Carpenters Group and the event took place at the iconic Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 6 December 2023. 

Ageas came top of the ranks against shortlisted insurers Aviva, Chubb, Covea Insurance and LV=.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
