Ace seeking travel growth following Chris Price appointment

Ace has appointed Chris Price to the newly created role of regional director of travel insurance for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.

Price will work with Ace’s travel teams across EMEA to provide strategic direction in order to grow the company’s travel insurance business through a number of distribution channels including brokers, partnerships, banks/institutions and online.

He joins from RBS where he was head of travel and animal health insurance, working across the company’s brands including Direct Line and Churchill, as well as a number of its partnership brands. He will report to Andy Hollenberg, senior vice president, accident & health/personal lines/life.

Price said: “ACE already has significant experience in the travel insurance market with a diverse portfolio and technical underwriting expertise. I am looking forward to building on its existing success.”

Hollenberg added: “Chris’ appointment presents an exciting opportunity for our travel business. The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
