A-Plan's latest branch in the south of England
High Street insurance broker A-Plan has strengthened its presence in the south with the opening of a new branch in Poole, Dorset.
The Poole branch follows launches in Maidenhead, Wimbledon, and Salisbury since December 2009.
Chief executive Carl Shuker said: “With a couple more new branches still on the drawing board, these new openings provide great career stepping stones for the many talented, hardworking and ambitious people we have across the company - we always promote from within.
"Whilst the direct market is firmly established, and price comparison sites have established a significant role, there are still many people who like the option of arranging their insurance locally and dealing face to face.
"We passionately believe there is a very exciting future for all businesses that understand what their clients want and then work hard to deliver," he added.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
