£1m GWP Kent-based broker snapped up by Markerstudy
Markerstudy Group has acquired Kent-based Beal & Co, a specialist in insurance for funeral directors.
Markerstudy said the acquisition forms part of the group's aggressive growth strategy and reinforces its appetite for niche business.
Beal & Co will add around £1m gross written premium to Markerstudy Group .
Although remaining in Snodland, Kent, Beal & Co will move to new shop front premises.
Markerstudy group chief executive Kevin Spencer said: “The wealth of experience that exists within Beal & Co has been retained to ensure the specific needs of customers will continue to be met.
"We predict a fast growth curve based on our two pronged approach - to provide a local service whilst increasing the niche business exponentially.”
