Fiehn quits Sterling for new role at Markerstudy

Markerstudy Group has appointed Dan Fiehn as group head of IT, a new role.

Fiehn is joining Markerstudy from Sterling Insurance Group where he was IT associate director.

During his four and a half years at Sterling, he oversaw IT development, including the implementation of the Landscape insurance system, and was responsible for a twenty one-strong IT team.

Fiehn will report to the Markerstudy board. He will be responsible for "ensuring a flexible strategy for the future growth and core objectives of the group," Markerstudy said in a statement.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
