Broking firm Gallagher Heath Insurance Services (GHIS) has hired ex-Brightside executives Alan Sanderson and Peter Cooper to grow its schemes and affinities division.

GHIS, part of Gallagher International, aims to double its revenues to $100m (£66m) by 2015, while achieving a minimum profit margin of 20%.

Sanderson has taken the role of corporate partnerships director. He was previously Brightside’s director of partnerships. Before this he spent none years at Aviva, the last four as partnerships director.

Cooper joins GHIS as operations director from a similar role at Brightside.

GHIS managing director Des O’Connor said: “Alan’s extensive experience in the corporate partnerships sector will enable us to maximise the potential of our existing distribution opportunities, while helping us secure new affinity business.

“Combining Alan’s expertise with Peter’s track record in strategic planning and implementation, alongside change management, will play an important part in making our expansions plans a reality.”
