History: Marsh Inc is the risk and insurance services unit of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC), a global professional services firm with 59,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding $10bn. Biography: Bruce Carnegie-Brown joined Marsh on 2 June 2003 as chief executive.

Prior to joining Marsh, he spent 18 years with JP Morgan in a variety of roles in Europe and Asia. From 1995 to 1997, he was the chief credit officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa; from 1997 to 2000 he was chairman of JP Morgan Securities Asia Ltd, based in Tokyo.

He relocated to London in September 2000 where he was head of European debt capital markets until joining Marsh.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, Carnegie-Brown spent four years at the Bank of America.
