History: Following the acquisition in December 1999 of the Norwegian Vesta group, Tryg Baltica merged with Unidanmark. Tryg Baltica AS was established as a holding company within the group for insurance activities and during 1999 Tryg Baltica acquired the outstanding 50% of Colonia-Baltica Insurance Company to be reorganised as Trgy Baltica International.
