As part of an ongoing reorganisation SVB has appointed Mike Roffey as head of its discontinued business unit (DBU).
SVB said it expected the DBU to become operational during the first quarter of 2005.
Roffey would be responsible for managing the run-off of liability reinsurance, healthcare and third party liability risks.
