Admiral are expected to report a 2005 interim core profit of £56.6m tomorrow when it announces results for the six months ended 30 June 2005.

The core profit for the first half of 2004 of £48.6m was adjusted to remove the benefit of an exceptional profit commission earned in 2003 but accounted for in 2004.
