AIG president and chief executive Martin Sullivan is to speak at this year's Biba Conference in May.
The specially arranged keynote session will be take place prior to the conference and exhibition opening.
Biba said: "The one-off session gives the insurance industry the rare opportunity to hear Martin Sullivan speak in the UK."
Sullivan will focus on the state of the industry, world economic developments and the many opportunities available to innovative brokers and insurance companies.
The address will be followed by a cross industry debate involving some of the most senior figures in the insurance market. Joining Sullivan on this panel will be Dennis Mahoney, chairman and chief executive of Aon, Richard Ward, Lloyd's chief executive, and Peter Cullum, group chairman, Towergate Partnership.
The Biba conference will be held at ExCel London from 23 -25 May.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
