AIG Europe, have gained approval to set up a branch in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The group is licensed to sell aviation, cargo, property and professional liability insurance, the company said in a statement.
Nikoloz Kitiashvili, previously a representative for Marsh Caspian Services in Georgia, will be heading up the Tbilisi branch.
