AM Best has issued a Best syndicate rating of ‘A' and the issuer credit rating of ‘a+' to Syndicate 2001, which is managed by Amlin Underwriting.
The outlook for both ratings is stable.
As the largest syndicate in Lloyd's with allocated capacity of £1bn in 2004, AM Best said Syndicate 2001 had an excellent market profile and leadership position for most of the classes that it wrote.
