It appears that Aon brokers were right to "fear becoming a laughing-stock," as first reported in Insurance Times two weeks ago.
At a recent meeting of the TT club one of the esteemed speakers kicked off his speech with the following, to howls of derision: "I would just like to reassure any Aon brokers out there that this conference costs under £50, so you're all more than welcome to stay." The shame!
