An intranet service created by in-house developers at Lloyd's has been adopted by Aon Consulting.
The intranet, called C-net, was built in only three months, and is used regularly by staff at Lloyd's. It provides the regulatory business support and administration functions for the market.
Rob Foskett, C-net team leader commented: "C-net is geared towards page creation by non-technical users, but also offers the possibility of delivering content other than C-Net Builder-generated pages, such as databases and applications.
"It allows people without web development skills to successfully build intranet content, and ensures that these pages are automatically built into a range of navigation methods for the site."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
