Underwriter wants brokers "to take a second look" at market
Commercial underwriting agency APC has announced a package of enhancements to its residential let and commercial let products.
Its residential let product has been enhanced in three key areas: new legal expenses and rent guarantee wording; upgraded malicious damage and vandalism cover; upgraded rent and alternative accommodation cover.
APC said commission levels for new business and renewals have also increased substantially.
APC’s Underwriting Director, Ian Russell, said: “The property owners business stream is often overlooked as premiums are considered to be low.
"By enhancing our specialist products to make sales easier to secure, delivering streamlined administration and increasing commission levels we plan to encourage brokers to take a second look at this important market.”
