The annual e-Commerce Conference (eCC) in Bermuda has been postponed to March 2002 as a result of the terrorist attacks in the US on September 11, 2001.

The conference was to have been held from October 3 to October 5, 2001.

The conference organisers say the eCC Bermuda is targeted towards decision-makers and entrepreneurs from companies that are looking to globalise their operations and seek offshore fiscal benefits in addition to expert professional support.

Meanwhile, the Bermuda International Business Association (BIBA) has reaffirmed that Bermuda's key business sectors including insurance, banking and e-commerce continue to operate in a stable and sound manner.
