BIBA and CII gain recognition at the British Insurance Awards for their broker training package...

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) have been awarded for their broker product ASSESS by winning the Training Award last night at the British Insurance Awards.

Launched in August 2003, together with compliance experts R W Associates, ASSESS helps brokers prepare for and meet the continuing challenges of statutory regulation under the Financial Services Authority.

More than 10,000 licences for the system, which provides an objective measure of employees' knowledge and understanding, have been taken up since its launch.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
