The hearing with Brightside is due to be held at the high Court today
Brightside Group is taking legal action against its former auditors RSM UK Audit, formerly known as Baker Tilly UK.
Baker Tilly were Brightside’s auditors before the group was bought by Anacap in 2014.
Insurance Times understands the legal action is in relation to duties carried out for Brightside between 2012 and 2013, relating to auditing reports and due diligence.
RSM resigned as Brightside’s auditors in November 2015.
A hearing today at the High Court is expected to be a technical procedural hearing.
Brightside Group has declined to comment.
RSM has been approached for a comment.
