After giving the French team (who were staying at the same hotel) hell as they boarded the bus to the big match against England, Allianz Cornhill's Chris Hanks, Paul Maidment and Geoff Moylan, and their broker guests who included Folgate's Andy Homer as well as representatives from HSBC, Marsh, JLT and Kerry London, were in good spirits before kickoff. But Backchat surmises the smiles faded after the group witnessed first hand the French team's last-gasp victory at Euro 2004 in Portugal.
