Carole Nash Insurance Consultants has reported a 64% jump in pre-tax profits to £2.2m from £1.34m at its 31 October 2004 year end.
The company said its push into the motor, household and travel insurance sector had boosted profits. The company has also secured market leadership in the motorcycle sector, it claimed.
Sales rose by almost 20% to £22.6m from £18.9m and revenue from the core insurance business increased by 9%. The company said its move into motor lines and a strong motorcycle book were key growth factors.
Premium income rose from £52m to £56m.
