Cheshire Datasystems (CDL) is launching a service that will allow intermediaries to share risk information in a network to get the customer a better price.

Rebroke.net launches in two weeks. It creates a network of intermediaries that use the CDL Classic system. If intermediaries are willing, they can pass custom to each other and retain commission on the sale without losing it to a competitor and receiving nothing.

The partners in the network decide on the commission rates.

CDL general manager Rick Slater said many large telesales intermediaries used CDL. He said that, with rebroke.net, quotes not taken up could be placed with other intermediaries. "With a relationship with organisations in the CDL community, intermediaries can have access to better deals," he said.

Slater said the technology developed from CDL's InsureForLess.co.uk community. This provided a "one stop shop" with quote details sent to a number of intermediaries and the top three presented.
