Claims Direct has sold Rosie One Limited, Towerfocus Limited and Ropespring Limited for £2.9m, after costs.

The net asset value of the companies, which are non-trading subsidiares of Claims Direct, at the date of sale was zero.

Claims Direct said it will use the proceeds for working capital.

Chief executive Ronnie Henderson commented: "Although we are delighted to complete the sale of the companies, Claims Direct still requires further funds to secure the future of the business."
