Policyholders will be able to ensure new contracts don't harm existing insurance cover

CNA Insurance will begin offering a free collateral warranty advice service to its professional indemnity construction customers.

Offered in association with law firm Mills & Reeve, the service gives policyholders free and easy access to a team of skilled lawyers to ensure that new contractual relationships do not adversely affect their insurance cover.

The service, which is available to all of CNA’s Professional Indemnity construction customers in the UK, provides direct access to legal expertise.

The advice is presented in an easy-to-use “traffic light” format, informing customers on how contracts may impact on existing PI cover in a clear and concise manner.

Tina Booth, UK PI manager, at CNA Europe, said: “This new service boosts these capabilities as well as adding real value to our customers businesses through both cost and time savings.”

"We have a strong and productive relationship with Mills & Reeve, who are also experts in this sector and we believe that this complimentary service sets us apart in the construction industry,” she added.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
