Simon Cooter has left Royal & SunAlliance to join Brit Insurance as distribution director, UK division.
At R&SA, Cooter worked in a variety of roles, most notably director of small business for the past seven years.
Peter Burrows, head of the UK division, commented: “Simon will be working closely with our leadership team to develop distribution strategy and execution, and his experience of regional distribution and contact and relationship management will be invaluable. His appointment will also strengthen our leadership team during this exciting time for Brit Insurance's UK operations.”
