The partnership between Covéa and Audatex continues, as the insurer adopts new tech

Covéa will use Audatex tech to allow customers to quickly share the extent of damage to their vehicle after an accident.

Customers making a claim will be able to upload images of their damaged vehicle to an online portal via their mobile phone.

The portal works on both Covéa and Audatex’s systems.

Covéa will be the first insurer to use Audatex’s image capture technology.

Alastair Sherwin, motor engineer manager for Covéa Insurance commented: “We’re delighted to be the first insurer to bring Audatex’s customer image capture technology to the claims market, driving innovation and streamlining the insurance claims process for our customers.

Previously, the insurer has struck a deal with Audatex to use its Repairer Allocation Manager (RAM) solution, which uses Google Maps to help customers identify manufacturers and repairers nearby.

David Shepherd, regional managing director at Audatex UKSA added:

“We’re delighted our partner Covèa Insurance is the first insurer to adopt the image capture solution, which will further support both body shops and customers through the claims process. The image capture technology will help Covèa Insurance to optimise its claims lifecycle and refine its customer journey in the digital revolution.”
