Endurance Worldwide Insurance has announced two significant appointments in its treaty teams.

Luke Roden has been appointed to the new position of underwriting manager, property treaty. Roden will assume management responsibility for the property treaty team and the management and development of the property treaty account at Endurance Worldwide.

Mark Thorogood has been appointed to the new position of underwriting manager, casualty treaty. He will assume management responsibility for the casualty treaty team and the management and development of the casualty treaty account.

Both will report directly to Gunther Saacke, head of reinsurance. Endurance Specialty Insurance CEO Daniel Izard said: “These changes will enhance our ability to execute effectively during the very significant, yet challenging January 1 renewal season.”
