Event insurer SLE Worldwide has launched a risk management disk for brokers, advising on the risks surrounding event insurance.
The disk will include a template for how to approach risk management for events and events insurance, SLE Worldwide executive director Michael Patchett said.
Patchett said the aim was to encourage best practice in organising events.
He named the main risk issues for events as public liability claims, slips and trips, and crowd movements.
"Risk awareness is going to be big," Pachett said. "Our focus is on risks that are well managed but where people realise they need to talk to someone about them."
