Why did you want to enter the Commercial Lines Broker of the Year category specifically?

We’ve made a big effort to diversify our customer offering to become the insurance broker of choice for commercial businesses. Our aim was to provide more simplicity, choice and value to small businesses and landlords.

By working with 18 of the UK’s top insurers across a range of products, we help our customers to find what they need. 

In 2021, Simply Business launched our first major banking partnership with Barclays. This allowed us to extend our reach to more small businesses and landlords.

We also launched a contractors combined product with QBE - a new insurer to our panel. This allowed us to provide simplicity and outstanding customer service to larger businesses.

What do you think makes your entry stand out or different from your competition?

As well as insuring small businesses and landlords, we want to enable their big dreams.

Our annual Business Boost competition gifts one lucky entrepreneur with £25,000 to start or grow their business.

During a tough few years, we’ve amplified the challenges of small businesses and landlords to the widest possible audience.

Meanwhile, our award-winning knowledge centre provides timely updates and essential resources.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning this award would be a huge achievement for Simply Business, recognising our commitment to put our customers at the heart of what we do.
