Hats off to the Association of Medical Intermediaries and its first rate conference held recently in London. The well-attended event, organised by the Campaign Partnership - the outfit that puts together Biba's slick event - was chaired by Stephen Walker.

Backchat was surprised to hear the plenary speech by the opinionated fertility specialist Professor Robert Winston rubbish alternative medicine and ridicule those who used or practised reflexology.

This cannot have gone down too well with Walker's wife, Chris, who travelled up from Brighton, specifically to hear Winston. She is a leading reflexologist and published author on the subject.
