Appeal to ruling that voters must have held shares in October
Fortis has postponed a shareholder vote on the sale of the BNP banking arm until 28 April after a court ruled only those who held shares in October could vote.
The ruling makes registration complicated but also makes a no vote more likely. Fortis is appealing the decision.
